This higher dose niacin formula didn't agree with me. It elevated my blood glucose levels and made me feel ill. Please research the side effects of higher potency niacin supplements before use and discuss with your doctor. I took this to lower cholesterol and avoid statins, but I became very unwell, experiencing a toxic reaction with lasting effects. I am diabetic, and this raised my blood sugar to dangerous levels, taking weeks for me to recover.
